A short history of Carlton Hind Associates
Global Generators Worldwide is proud to be part of Carlton Hind Associates.
Carlton Hind Associates was formed by the Blything family in 1974. Over the years it took on many different types of operations, starting as Banking and Mortgage Lenders for a leading merchant bank and diversifying into ladieswear boutiques and golf wear suppliers before joining the board of a leading motor racing promoter (the cars included Hell Drivers, Wreckers, Formula 1 & 2 Stockcars and some stunt driving). Following that were video shops and tanning salons, before entering the generating set industry, working with one of the leading sponsors of the Formula 1 stockcars.
The involvement with the generating set industry has been successful and over the last 40 years the owners have conducted business and visited numerous countries across the world including Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Palestine, Ethiopia, China, Japan, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Libya, to name but a few.
